Spring 2026 Calumet Region Children's Choir
Is your child looking for a fun and musical community to thrive in? Look no further! This 14 week course is perfect for students who want to explore their musical side and enjoy singing. This ensemble will meet weekly on Wednesdays and the students will perform a few pieces at a summer recital in June! No prior music experience necessary.
Details:
Location: 1050 Broadway Ave Suite 15 Chesterton, IN 46304
Date/Time: Wednesdays 4:15pm-5:15pm - February 18th - June 3rd (no class on 3/4 or 3/25). Makeup dates will be 6/10 and 6/17.
Cost: $210 for 14 weeks. Total price will be split into 3 smaller payments of $70 due February 11th, March 11th, and April 11th. Cost also includes a t-shirt.
This class is recommended for students ages 6-12, but if your student is slightly younger or older than this range, reach out to see if this class is right for your student!

April Art Classes
Come join us for our April art classes! We have two to choose from!
Class 1: Hand Sewing Workshop: Saturday, April 11th from 1:30pm-3:00pm
- Students will learn to hand sew with felt and use basic hand sewing stiches to make a pocket pal. Students will get to choose to make a frog or a cat (see pictures below). - Ages 9+ (kids 6-8 are welcome to attend if they have a parent to sit next to them and help them out).
Class 2: Watercolor & Ink Workshop: Saturday, April 25th from 3:00pm-4:30pm
- Students will explore mixed-media techniques layered with stamps and ink - Ages 6+

Cost: $25 per class or $40 if you sign up for both! If you have more than one child in your family that would like to sign up for the class(es), you will receive a 15% discount off your total invoice.

Kids Improv Classes - Spring Semester
Does your child have a lot of interest in theater and performing? Do they need more help thinking and speaking on the spot? Then this is the class for them! Kids will play beginner theater games and activities and begin to learn the basics of improvisation! All levels are welcome in the course. No past experience is required.
There are two different classes for this course on Tuesday evenings. 5-6 year olds will go from 5-6pm and 7-12 year old will go from 6:15-7:15.
Cost: $72 for the entire 6 week course

Private Theater Coaching
Does your child need more confidence in auditions? Do they have specific skills that still need a lot of work! We can help!
1-on-1 theater coaching is perfect for anyone who needs private help in theater. Whether it’s singing, acting, or choreography, this is a great investment in your child’s theater future!
Details:
We have a few different coaching packages:
Three 30-min sessions - $90
Six 30-min sessions - $170
Three 1hr sessions - $180
Six 1 hr session - $330
Once you fill out the form, we will work with you and your schedule to figure out times that work for both your family and the coach. All sessions must be used within a 3 month period of your first session. This is recommended for kids ages 6-16. If you are outside of this range, feel free to reach out to see if you’re a good fit for this class!

Music & Art Summer Camp
Do you have a child interested in learning music and art? Come join us for our one week summer camp!
This camp will meet Monday July 6th - Friday July 10th from 9:30am - 11:30am. This camp is not located at our studio! It is located at the Hobart PCC Building (705 E 4th St, Hobart, IN 46342 - Senior Activity And Multi-Purpose Entrance).
This camp is recommended for kids ages 6-11. Students turning 6 in the summer/fall are welcome to signup.
Students will be working on various art projects for the week and learning the basics of many different art techniques. Students will also learn the basics of several different instruments and play fun music songs and games throughout the camp.
Cost: This camp costs $130 and is split into two payments. The first payment of $70 secures your spot for camp. The second payment of $60 dollars will be due June 29th. This cost includes all art and music supplies.

Early Childhood Summer Music Camp
If you have a young child looking to explore their musical side more, this camp is for your little one! Students will explore different instruments weekly like the piano, drums, guitar, and more! There will be lots of musical exploration and lots of fun! Most activities will also be based on the k-1 Indiana music standards, so these kiddos will be one step ahead of their school classmates!
Time: Wednesdays 4:15pm-5:15pm - July 8th - July 29th. Makeup date August 5th.

This camp is recommended for kids ages 4-6. Students turning 7 in the summer/fall are also welcome to signup. If you have a student turning 4 in the summer/fall, please reach out to see if your student is a good fit for this camp. All students MUST BE POTTY TRAINED.
Cost: This 4 week camp is $65. Payment is due in full by July 1st.

Parents Night Out

2025 Winter Recital
Our winter recital is finally here!
Join us for a magical afternoon filled with amazing performances by our studio students. Get ready to be amazed by our students' musical talents on piano, ukulele, guitar, and so much more! Doors open at 3:40pm.
Ticket information: Tickets must be purchased ahead of time. Tickets will not be sold at the event. Kids under 5 get in for free.

Homeschool Songwriting Course
Do you have a homeschooled preteen/teen interested in songwriting? Then this is the class for them!
Students will receive their own songwriting journal and will be assisted in writing their own instrumental and/or vocal music. They will learn how to start the songwriting process and what musical forms typically happen in popular genres of music. Students that play an instrument are encouraged to bring it with them. Students are also allowed to bring a laptop/ipad if they’d like to use an online music software.
Class Cost: $80 (5 week course plus a songwriting journal each student can take home)

Calumet Region Children’s Choir
Are you looking for a fun and musical outlet for your elementary student? Come join our after-school choir! Students will learn to read music, sing by rote, practice rounds, and begin to harmonize. The choir will meet once a week for an hour and then have a performance at the end of the year! Family and friends will be encouraged to attend the performance. No musical experience necessary!
Class cost: $165 (11 week class plus a T-shirt) - No class on September 17th and November 26th. If class gets cancelled due to teacher illness or severe weather, we will make up the missed class on December 10th.

Are you looking to bond with your child in a fun and educational way through music? Drop into our music and movement class! This class integrates many of the Indiana K-2 Music Standards and only costs $10 for your entire family. Every week, we debut different instruments, sing songs, work on motor skills, learn sign language, and most importantly…HAVE FUN! Siblings are welcome at no extra cost!

Calumet Region Homeschool Ensemble
Have you been searching for a collaborative and social musical experience for your homeschool student? Then this is the ensemble for you!
Every Wednesday, the ensemble will meet and rehearse group songs on ukulele, bucket drums, boomwhackers, handbells, and more! In December, the students will then get a chance to perform a few songs as an ensemble to show off all of their hard work. Family and friends will be invited to watch! No music experience necessary! We just want enthusiastic students who are excited to learn music! We’re teaming up for a very special Mommy & Me Yoga & Music Class class—90 minutes of movement, music, and memory-making with your little one(s)!
Part 1: Gentle, playful yoga & movement with Melissa Malenky at The Zen Den
Part 2: Joyful music time with Cassandra Williamson Music (think rhythm games, instruments, and songs!)

STEAM Summer Camp
Is your child interested in music and art? Are they also interested in math, science, and engineering? If so, then this is the camp for them! This camp will encourage students to create and problem solve in creative ways while also having fun! This camp is a mix of playing music as a group, creating art projects, working together through mathematical and scientific problems, and learning how all these subjects can intertwine! We will use both sides of the brain in this exciting camp!
The camp will meet weekly on Thursdays from 10:00am-1:00pm. This camp will go from June 19th to Jul 31st. This is a 6 week camp. There will be no class the week of 4th of July.
